Coronavirus: Steps We’re Taking to Protect Your Safety

In a time of unprecedented challenges facing our nation and the people of Dallas, Texas, ABC Heating & Air Conditioning knows that our customers still need service from our highly-qualified, licensed HVAC contractors when unexpected problems arise with their HVAC system.

Air Conditioning Repair in Plano, TX

We also know that our customers are concerned for the health of themselves and their families above all else. We at ABC Heating & Air Conditioning are committed to continuing to provide the highest-quality HVAC services in Dallas, Texas, while following all guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Texas Department of State Health Services and the CDC. Our goal is to protect the health of our customers along with the health of our employees so that we can continue to provide essential services throughout Dallas. If you have any further questions about what we’re doing to protect your health, please feel free to contact us at 972-704-1444.

Our Contractors are Wearing Masks, Gloves, and Shoe Coverings

Unfortunately, HVAC contractors can’t work remotely. In order to help our customers get reliable, cool air conditioning, we have to leave our homes and even go into other people’s homes. Our contractors continue to work in the field providing high-quality HVAC services to residences as well as commercial locations. While in the field, each of our HVAC contractors follows state and federal guidelines on limiting the spread of the virus to others. We are careful to avoid going inside of homes whenever possible.

Additionally, we are equipped with face masks, gloves, and shoe coverings to reduce the risk of contamination. By regularly changing gloves and shoe coverings in accordance with state and federal guidelines, our HVAC contractors ensure that they do not increase our customers’ risk of exposure. As the situation continues to evolve, we will update our policy in accordance with medical experts’ recommendations. Please feel free to contact us to see how we are responding to recent changes.

Our Contractors are Maintaining Six-Feet of Distance

At ABC Heating & Air Conditioning, we are known for our superior customer service, and we are certain that we can continue to provide the highest-quality HVAC services even as we make sure to keep some distance between ourselves and our customers. We ask that our customers help in our efforts to minimize contamination by allowing our HVAC contractors to maintain at least a six-foot distance from our customers in accordance with social distancing guidelines. While we can no longer shake your hand upon completion of another successful repair, we will continue to provide HVAC services you can rely on even in times of increased challenges in the greater Dallas area.

We Can Provide Ultraviolet Air Purification

In addition to wearing protective face masks, gloves, and face coverings and maintaining physical distance from others, we are carefully sanitizing our tools, vehicles, and facilities to ensure that we are keeping our HVAC contractors and customers safe from potential contamination.

Additionally, we continue to offer Ultraviolet Air Purification to our customers. Ultraviolet Air Purification is far more effective than simple air filters and can protect the air in your home from mold, mildew, and bacteria. Unfortunately, if any contaminants are present in your HVAC system, the air filtering through that system will contain contaminants that can threaten the health of your family. Air filters are less effective because they simply trap the contaminants, where an Ultraviolet Air Purification system will kill organic matter and sanitize contaminated area to prevent regrowth.

Ultraviolet Air Purification is perfectly safe for your family because it will be located within your system where no one is at risk of accidentally looking at the bulbs. Hospitals have been using Ultraviolet Air Purification for decades to ensure that their at-risk patients breathe only the highest-quality air. Fortunately, the system requires minimal maintenance. Simply replace the bulbs once every one or two years, depending on your system’s specifications, and your air will continue to be free from contaminants.

If you are interested in ensuring your family is breathing air free from contaminants, contact us today to schedule an installation and see what other services we at ABC Heating & Air Conditioning can offer to protect your family.
